It's been a while. Welcome back.

 

Hi!

It has been so long since I have logged in here that I wasn't even sure this blog still existed. It has been a walk down memory lane to read old posts on here and my original blog, Where In the World Are The Three Peas. I had a short stint with my own website, but it was too challenging to manage and it was costing me dollars to keep and well... life happened. So. Much. Change.

Anywhooo... from now on this is where you're going to find me. If you are reading this, you know that I have pulled out of the social media whirlwind. There are lots of reasons but at the end of the day it comes down to I'm really tired of algorithms telling me what to think, what to buy, who to listen to, what I think is funny, where I have to go, etc. and I'm done. There is more garbage than quality, more lies than truth and more control than freedom. I also have big ethical feelings about a lot of things going on around us. So, fuck it. I'm leaving the places behind that poke all those things and making changes in my world where I can.

I am going to keep this blog going as a place to journal the travels, adventures, thoughts, questions, wonderings, and all the other stuff. I am still figuring out how to detangle from Facebook and Instagram, and whether I'm deleting or deactivating, but for now my accounts will stay put with the link that led you here - I just won't be checking in on things over there.

You can also comment down below if you want to say "hey" and of course you can always text. I'm going to miss the easy connections with people I don't see all the time so I hope we can find new ways to reach out and check in.
